SO, I totally splurged and bought a macbook pro. Its not like I really have the money but my other video editing computer was stolen last winter so I had some insurance money left over…
So far, I am converted! It is cute, small, and much easier to use than I thought. The biggest disappointment is that the iMovie is not as technical as I thought it would be. Don’t get me wrong, the clarity and speed are great, but compared to what I was used to using in adobe, one is very limited using iMovie in terms of effects and music.
Overall, I am happy with the purchase, we’ll see if I feel the same when the credit card bill comes :)

imovie used to be good but they dumbed it down a lot a couple of years ago. I hate the new version.
